Neodymium segment magnet axially magnetized 20mm O.R. x 12.5mm I.R. x 90 degrees x 5mm N42. Commonly used in motors for rotors and stators, these high-performance neodymium (N42) magnets are magnetized so that the north and south poles are on opposite flat sides. Each magnet can withstand a pull force of 5kg perpendicular to the magnet face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface of the same thickness.

These high performance neodymium magnets (N42) are commonly used in motor rotors and stators and are magnetized with the north and south poles on opposing flat surfaces.

A maximum deviation of -10% compared to the specified value is possible in exceptional cases. Value is exceeded in general. Depending on the type of application (installation situation, temperatures, counter anchor etc.) the forces can be influenced enormously.
